Simon Pimblett

Head of Research & Development

Simon attended the University of Manchester where he studied Management Science.  He then joined the financial services industry in 1987 and has since then progressively specialised in the more technical aspects.  Simon originally started working with the senior management of The Route in 2000 and joined the firm in July 2003 as a specialist adviser.  Simon currently runs The Route’s Research and Development Department, which involves internal product development and training as well as Member advice on specific queries.  Simon is also responsible for producing all internal articles, newsletters and reports.
